A Trillian plugin for sending email to contacts using an SMTP server. The project is codenamed Talbot, standing for "BLAT Over Trillian". Talbot will use a DLL version of Blat at its core.
The license for Blat can be found here. This license states, "The only limitation we impose is that Blat not be used to send unsolicited commercial eMail (UCE). Use of this software to send unsolicited commercial eMail constitutes an agreement to pay each of the authors $10,000." This limitation is agreed and will be echoed in the license for Talbot.

Currently, no release date has been announced.
Currently, there is no alpha or beta testing. Development has not yet reached that phase.
Currently, no source code for Talbot has been released. Release of the source code for Talbot is not planned at this time.
